#1-1 May, 1907 - Blair Courier - Louise (Enderlin) Fink

G. G. Fink received a telegram Monday afternoon that his mother died out at the ranch in Cherry county that morning. The body will be taken to the nearest town, Ainsworth, forty miles from the ranch, and be shipped to this city, arriving on the 4:50 train tomorrow afternoon. The funeral will be held at the Methodist church at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon, and interment made in the Blair cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Fink lived here for about five years, going to the ranch last July in the hope that Mrs. Fink’s health would be better. She was born in Germany and came to New York state with her parents when a child. She was married to W. T. Fink at Prattsville, N.Y., and in a few years they moved to Crawford county, Iowa, which was their home up to five years ago when they came to Blair. Besides her husband she leaves four grown sons, Leslie H., Arthur L., Chester G., and Albert J. Fink, who are now called to mourn the loss of a kind and loving mother, who gave her life and love that they might become the strong, sturdy, honorable men we all know them to be.
