#1-8 Aug., 1901 - Blair Courier - J. H. Park

The body of J. H. Park arrived from Omaha last Monday, and was buried in the Blair cemetery. Deceased was a brother-in-law of Clark O’Hanlon and died in the Presbyterian hospital of Bright’s disease. He was a carpenter by trade and leaves a wife and two children.

Note: The Vig notes recorded at the Danish American Archives has the last name spelled Park, not Parks as recorded in the Blair Cemetery records. It is recorded that his wife was Louisa O'Hanlon and they were married in 1865 and that their children were Harold and Ruth.

#2-8 Aug., 1901 - The Pilot - James Park

The funeral of James Park of Omaha was held in Blair last Monday. The services were conducted at the grave by Rev. Vallow. The deceased was a brother-in-law of Attorney O’Hanlon of this city, and leaves a wife and two children as immediate members of the family. Brights disease of long standing caused his death. Mrs. Park will spend a few days with her sister, Mrs. N. L. Titus before returning to Omaha. Mr. Park died at the Presbyterian hospital Sunday.
