#2-7 Mar., 1901 - The Pilot - Margaret (Quidort) Bugeon

Death has again entered our city and removed another of the old settlers, one who has watched the changes with interest. We refer to Mrs. Margaret Bugeon who passed away yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. R. Thomas of this city. Deceased was born in France in 1820 and came to this country in 1857, settling on a farm in DeSoto, since which time she has been a resident of this county. Mrs. Bugeon has been an invalid all winter, but when the grip attacked her, the constitution at the age of 80 years was unable to bear it and passed quietly away. Quite a coincident is apparent in the death of Mrs. Bugeon and her husband who passed away at the same hour, 11:30 a.m., of the same day of the month, just four years previous. Two children are left, Mrs. C. P. Thomas and Fred Bugeon, who have the sympathy of hosts of friends in this their bereavement. She was a lovable old lady whom everyone loved.
