Mont Ballard died at Coon Rapids, Ia. last Monday from injuries received by falling out of a wagon and the body was brought here for burial Tuesday evening. Rev. G. H. Main of Norfolk conducted the funeral services from the residence of his mother, Mrs. M. Ballard, at 10:30 yesterday morning. He joined the Methodist church here under Rev. Main’s ministrations. He was a brother of Dell, Grace and Hattie Ballard and leaves a wife and one child to mourn his untimely departure.
