Henry Poeckler died at just noon on Monday at the home of his son, Rev. C. Poeckler, pastor of the German Lutheran church of this city. The funeral services were held at 2:30 yesterday afternoon and were conducted by Rev. E. J. Frese of Omaha. Mr. Poeckler was born in Germany Feb. 17, 1842, and was married to Wilhelmina Stracke in 1867. To them were born three children, a son and daughter who live at Pittsburg, Pa. and Rev. C. Poeckler of this city. Deceased’s first wife died in 1891 and in ’95 he was married to Mrs. Anna Wach, who now survives him. Mr. Poeckler came out here from Pittsburg last April for his health and has been gradually failing since that time.
