Mrs. Nellie Crowder died last Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Arnold. A short funeral service was held at the house at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon by Rev. C. E. Tingley, and the remains were taken to Peru, Neb. on the afternoon train, accompanied by her husband and mother. Deceased was a sister-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold and in behalf of Mr. Crowder they wish to thank the friends and neighbors for their kindness and assistance during the three weeks of her illness and for the kindly expressions of sympathy after her death.
