Buried in Blair Cemetery

19 June, 1902 - Blair Courier - Jennie Morrill

Died on Monday evening of this week at the General hospital in Montreal, Canada of blood poisoning, Mrs. Jennie Morrill, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Asa Dixon of this city, aged 23 years and six months. She leaves an affectionate husband and a little son to mourn her early death. It was a great consolation for Mrs. Dixon to be with her daughter during the last weeks of her illness to minister to her wants and to hear from her own lips the last messages of love to the afflicted father, brothers and sisters in Nebraska whom she had fondly hoped to meet in a family reunion sometime this month. Her sweet disposition and many accomplishments made her a social favorite, and where she had spent eight years of happy married life, as well as in this city, her sudden death has caused general sorrow. Mr. F. Morrill will arrive today with the casket and the funeral will be from the M. E. church on Friday at 2 o’clock p.m. Rev. Vallow will officiate.
