CAROL JASPERSEN, 80

Services for Carol Jaspersen, 80, of West Point were held Tuesday, March 19, 1996, at Grace Lutheran Church in West Point. Rev. Carl Kramer officiated. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery at West Point. She died March 16 at her home.

Carol Jaspersen was born Oct. 1, 1915 at West Point to Louis and Elsie Schroeder Maack. She graduated from West Point High School in 1934.

On Feb. 21, 1947, she married Lyle R. Jaspersen, formerly of the Blair area. They farmed for 35 years northeast of West Point and retired in 1983.

She was a lifetime member of Grace Lutheran Church, a member of Hope Circle, the church sewing circle, Altar Guild, West Point Women's Club, Bustles and Beau's Square Dance Club, Hospital Auxiliary, HD Club and a former 4-H leader.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

Survivors include her husband, Lyle; daughters Kathie (Mrs. Reinold) Munderloh of Bancroft; Susan (Mrs. John) Jacobson of Annapolis, Md.; Nancy (Mrs. Stan) Rochlitz of Paxton; brothers Norris and Donald Maack of West Point; sister Marilyn (Mrs. Arthur) Munderloh of Bancroft; three grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. She was a sister-in-law of Irene and Bud Lorsch of Kennard.
