#1-11 Nov., 1903 - Blair Courier - Cornelia Brunton

After an illness of about three weeks with typhoid fever, Miss Cornelia Brunton died at 7 o’clock Tuesday morning. The funeral service will be held at the Christian church at 3 o’clock today. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Z. T. Brunton, and was about twenty three years of age at the time of her death. She was organist at the Christian church, and had considerable musical talent. Her early demise will be a severe blow to her parents and the other members of the family, and their many friends extend heartfelt sympathies in this hour of sad bereavement.

#2-11 Nov, 1903 - The Pilot - Cornelia Brunton

The Pilot regrets to be called upon to announce the death of Miss Cornelia Brunton, the twenty two year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Z. T. Brunton. She had been employed at Omaha until sickness entered the family when she returned home to help in caring for those stricken. Others of the family improved, but disease overtook her and the best medical attention could not stem the tide and on Tuesday morning she passed peacefully away. Only a few days ago she was among us, apparently in the best of health and her death is a severe shock to her many friends here. She was educated and refined and won the close friendship of those she had the pleasure of meeting. The funeral will be held today at 2:30 from the Christian church. Rev. Young, pastor of the church, will deliver the sermon.
