Neal Thompson,61, Died Jan 2nd.

Neal Bryon Thompson, 61, a long-time resident of Blair, passed away at Veterans Hospital in Omaha at 11:00 A.M. January 2nd. Death was attributed to a cerebral hemorrhage.

He was born in Blair on October 30, and he spent his entire life in and around Blair until 1945 when he moved to Walthill.

He was married to Selma Anderson April 23, 1918 and to this union were born seven children, all of whom survive his passing.They are Harley V.,of Blair, Lowell of Dixson,Nebr.; Mrs. Wesley Wallace (Mildred) of Council Bluffs,IA; Mrs Albert Madsen (Alice) Mrs Marlin Matzen ( Nila), Mrs Ronald Jensen (Gloria) and Elton Thompson all of Blair.

. He is survived by his mother Carrie Rosenbaum of Blair and by two brothers Earl C. of Blair; and George of LeMars, Colorado. Two sisters also survive. They are Cecil Forney, of New Castle Nebraska, and Mrs. Daisy Rosenbaum of Omaha.

There are 13 grandchildren.

He was a veteran of World War One.

Funeral services are to be held at the First Christian Church in Blair on Saturday, January 5th at 2 p.m. with burial in the Blair Cemetery.
