HENRY GEHRK PASSES AWAY

Henry Gehrk, aged 85 years, died at the home of his son, Carl Gehrk 4 a.m. Tuesday after a lingering illness of dropsy. He came to this country from Germany about thirty five years ago, and the greater part of that time has been a resident of Washington county, and since the death of his wife several years ago, has made his home with his son.

He was well known and was a man of character and kindly disposition. Although a constant sufferer and unable to lay down for the past two months, he never complained and bore it patiently.

Funeral services were held at the house Thursday afternoon and was largely attended. Interment in Blair cemetery. Enterprise extends sympathy to the bereaved family.
