After a lingering illness, Anton Sorensen was laid to rest last Thursday in the New England cemetery, Rev. Patrick officiating. Mr. Sorenson was a native of Denmark, and has been in this country for about twenty years. He is a very hard worker, and has been running a large farm for the past few years since his wife died. He has done this in order to keep his children together, but in so doing, he has undermined his health and brought on consumption. Three small children survive him who will be under the guardianship of N. H. Peterson. Mr. Sorenson was a kind husband, a loving father and good neighbor.
