Died, Goldie Marie, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sherman H. Cole. she was born at DeSoto June 10, 1902, and died at California Junction, Iowa Wednesday evening, July 22, 1903 of cholera infantum, age 1 year, 1 month and 12 days, and was buried Thursday, July 23 at Rose Hill cemetery, Mo. Valley. “When we see a precious blossom, That we tended with such care, Rudely taken from our bosom, How our aching hearts despair! ‘Round its little grave we linger, ‘Till the setting sun is low. Feeling all our hopes have perished, With the flow’r we cherished so."
