12 Mar., 1903 - The Pilot - Charlie E. Moore

Died at Hyannis at 4 o’clock a.m. on Friday, Feb. 27, Charlie E. Moore, aged 48 years. Interment at Morley cemetery, Arlington, March 3. The deceased was born in Erie county, Pa. Nov. 16, 1857, and ten years later moved with his parents to Washington county, Nebr., settling near Arlington. In 1886 he moved to Hyannis, this state, where he spent the most of his life. About four years ago he suffered a severe attack of la grippe from which he never recovered, the disease having left its mark on his lungs and eventually caused his death. He leaves a brother and two sisters to mourn his untimely end, viz., Mrs. A. Rice of Omaha and Mrs. Helen Vrooman of Cleveland, Oh. and Frank Moore of Arlington. The funeral service at the grave was attended by the brother and sister residing in Nebraska and several other relatives and friends who knew him well. The service at the grave was short, but impressive. The surviving relatives have the heartfelt sympathy of this entire community in their great bereavement.
