Milford “Moe” Rines, age 85 of Kennard, NE, passed away December 24, 2020 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair. Services are currently pending.

Moe was born on October 2, 1935 in Gardiner, Maine, the son of Clarence and Stella Rines. After his graduation from Gardiner High School in 1954 he joined the United States Navy until 1957 when he was honorably discharged. Moe worked in the Navy shipyards until moving to Nebraska in 1959.

On April 6, 1963 he was united in marriage to Ina Mehlhop. Moe worked as a millwright for Local #1463 and then went to work for General Electric in 1978 as a field engineer, until his retirement.

Moe is survived by his wife Ina, children; Nancy (Mark) Ward, Tim Rines, and his grandchildren Logan Ward and Tyler Rines. He was preceded in death by his daughter JoAnn.

Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
