Florence, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Puffenbarger, aged about seven years, was brought up from Omaha, and buried in Grandma Brook’s family lot in Ft. Calhoun November 21, 1905. This writer was to officiate at the cemetery, but unfortunately missed the time. The little girl was born here at Ft. Calhoun, as was also her mother, and the parents and grandmother have many sympathizers over their loss.

Note: The Vig files at the Danish American Archives has the last name spelled Puffenberger. No burial records were located. Since the death date was not given, the burial date was used.
