Mrs. Edgerton, mother of Miss Ida Edgerton, died at Sheldon, Iowa Monday morning. No particulars have been received, though Mrs. Edgerton is known to have been quite an elderly lady. The remains will reach Blair on the 8:21 train Wednesday evening, and it is supposed that the services will be held sometime Thursday morning. The Edgertons were old settlers in Washington county, and will probably be remembered better by the old timers. Miss Ida has lived here and enjoys quite an acquaintance here, and has the sympathy of her friends in the loss of her mother. Later: Mrs. Lucy Edgerton was eighty four years old and moved from Blair twelve years ago - three years after her husband’s death. The funeral will be from Mrs. Claar’s home at 10 a.m. Thursday, the only service being at the cemetery.
