Last Thursday the many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Quinlan of California Junction were shocked to learn of the death of their little girl, Johanna, aged two years, two months and twelve days. The little girl had been staying at her grandmothers and had taken a cold which developed rapidly into pneumonia to which she succumbed last Thursday. The funeral services were held at California Junction and were conducted by Father Murphy of Modale, assisted by Father O’Driscoll. The burial took place in the Holy Cross cemetery in Blair last Saturday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Quinlan have the sympathy of many friends in their sad hour of sorrow.
