The funeral of Niels Andersen was held from the Danish church last Thursday at 1 o’clock, Rev. Anker officiating. There was a large attendance of old friends and neighbors who were there to pay their last respects to a good neighbor, a kind and loving husband and father and a good citizen.

#2-15 Mar., 1905 - The Pilot - Niels C. Andersen

Niels C. Andersen died at his home in Blair Tuesday after an illness of fourteen weeks. Mr. Anders2n was born in Denmark sixty four years ago, and came to America at the age of 42 years, and has spent much of the time since on his farm near Kennard. Mr. Anderson leaves to mourn his loss a wife and two sons - Peter, who lives in this county, and Andrew of Burt county, besides many warm personal friends who have known the family during their residence in the county. The funeral services ill be held Thursday afternoon.
