Bentley Dec. 6, 1875, and to this union three children were born, two sons and one daughter, the daughter dying when two years of age. The two sons with their father are left to mourn their loss, but her great gain. She leaves a large circle of friends to mourn her taking away. Her pure Christian life was a blessing to all who knew her. A short prayer service was held at the home by Rev. C. G. Rouse, after which the husband, sons and daughter-in-law took the remains to Shenandoah, Iowa for burial. May she rest in peace until the great resurrection morn and then have a part in the first resurrection and receive the reward of the righteous from the Savior she loved and served so well.

Mrs. Bentley was a consistent and tireless worker with the W.C.T.U. as well as with all other organizations which had for its object the elevation of humanity. Her many friends join in extending sympathy to the family in their hour of bereavement.
