After many years of patient suffering Mrs. Herman Weitkamp passed from this world into the haven of rest where there is no sorrow, toil or care, but joy and happiness always. Deceased was born in Hereford, Germany February 15, 1838. She and her husband emigrated to this country in the year 1867, and resided in St. Louis for four years. They then moved to Fontanelle where they resided for thirty one years, but moved to near Admah three months previous to her death. She was 64 years, 10 months and 6 days old, and leaves to mourn her loss a loving husband, two sons and three daughters. A large concourse of sorrowing friends followed the remains to the Telbasta cemetery where interment was made.
