Marilyn Virginia Patterson, age 82, daughter of George and Helen (Svendsen) Johnson, was born on March 14, 1938 in Omaha, Nebraska. She passed away on January 1, 2021 in Omaha.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, George and Helen Johnson; stepmother, Agnes Johnson; and brothers, Gerald and Don Johnson. She is survived and will be missed by her loving husband, James Patterson Sr.; children: James (Carol) Patterson Jr., Michael Patterson, Karen (Mervyn) Singh, Steven Patterson; grandchildren: Laura (Josh) Needelman, Amy (Andy) Beagle, Paul Rathbun, Mark Rathbun; 6 great grandchildren; many other family and friends.

PRIVATE FAMILY SERVICES 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 7909 Mormon Bridge Rd., Omaha, NE 68152. Burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Fort Calhoun Fire Dept. or ALS Association.
