Last Thursday afternoon about two o’clock occurred the sudden death of Oliver West. He had been over to the home of his sister across the street and not feeling very well, started to go home and succeeded in getting within his own yard when he suddenly dropped. Restoratives were used, but of no avail, for death had come to claim its own. The funeral services were held from the home Saturday afternoon at 3 o’clock.
