8 Dec., 1909 - The Pilot - Clara Williams

Miss Clara Williams, who was taken to the hospital last week with appendicitis, died Thursday and Rev. D. M. Sayles conducted the funeral service at 10 o’clock Saturday morning at the Christian church. Despite the bad weather a large number of friends came in from the country to attend the funeral, which shows something of the esteem in which she was held. She was living at home with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. U. S. Williams, when she was first taken sick, and besides her parents, she leaves three sisters and two brothers. She was secretary of the Bono Sunday school and was always interested in church and Sunday school work. She will be greatly missed by all for she was greatly admired by all. She was born near Hamburg, Ia. June 3rd, 1892, and was therefore in her 17th year when death came and took her white soul to the land of eternal youth.
