At the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Nelson at Fremont, on Sunday last Mrs. Mary Carlberg departed this life at the ripe age of 85 years. The remains were brought to Arlington and were laid to rest in the Orum cemetery. Mrs. Carlberg was born in Sweden in 1824 and came to this country in 1880. Her husband has been dead for several years, and for some time Mrs. Carlberg has been making her home with her daughter at Fremont. She leaves five sons and two daughters to mourn her death as follows: Carl Carlsberg, Sr. of Arlington; August Carlsberg, Bancroft; Peter of Idaho; Frank of Lyons; Gust of Colon; Mrs. Olsen of Bristol; and Mrs. Nelson, Fremont.
