A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Petersen on the 3rd. Mrs. Petersen showed unfavorable symptoms following the birth and died last Wednesday despite everything her physician and family could do to save her life. The funeral was held at 2 o’clock Friday, Rev. C. P. Lang officiating. She was 27 years of age on September 5th, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Allen of this city.
