His trouble was not believed to be of a serious nature until Wednesday when a physician was called who pronounced it hemorrhage of the lungs. His condition, however, became gradually worse until an operation was finally resorted to as a last hope of benefitting him. Deceased was about forty years of age and leaves a widow and three sons, besides one brother and five sisters. The funeral took place Wednesday at 12 o’clock noon at Union church. Interment was made in the Lutheran cemetery in Fontanelle.
