The funeral of Mats Madsen took place from the Danish church last Thursday where Rev. Jensen delivered a beautiful sermon. Mr. Madsen has been sick for nearly three years and was forty four years old. He leaves a wife and one boy eleven years old. Mr. Madsen was a highly respected citizen, and a large number of friends took occasion Thursday to pay their last respects to his memory.
