Mrs. Albert Jensen died quite suddenly last Sunday evening at their home on east Washington street. She had been an invalid for the past fifteen years, but a stroke last winter made her condition worse. She had been bedfast for the past six weeks but was able to be about a bit when the end came very suddenly while she was sitting on the edge of the bed.

The funeral was held at the residence at 10 o'clock yesterday morning, Rev. N.P. Lang officating. The body was then taken to Omaha in the hearse and shipped to Nelson, Neb., where they had formerly lived, and where a son, Wm., and a married daughter live. A second service will be held out there today.

Anna Marie Rasmussen was born in Denmark anbd came to this country in girlhood. She met Albert Jensen at Beatrice and they were married there, making their home there for some 11 years. From there they moved to Nelson and lived there about 21 years, coming here nine years ago. She was past 62 years of age. Beside the children at Nelson, one son, Ole, lives here and works at the Rathmann garage. Another son, Dewey, lives at Sioux City, Ia.

MRS. ALBERT JENSEN

Mrs. Albert Jensen died at her home in this city on last Sunday afternoon at 4:45 o'clock. Deceased had been in poor health for the past fifteen years but had been confined to her home but for the past five weeks.

She was born in Denmark on January 26, 1862 and came to America when a young woman of eighteen years.

She was married to Mr. Albert Jensen in Beatrice, Nebraska on June 5, 1883, and for a number of years she and her husband made their home in Nuckolls county, near Nelson where they resided until thirteen years ago when they moved to Blair where they have since made their home.

Seven children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Jensen, four of whom are still living and all are married. They are: Wm. H. Jensen and Mrs. Herbert Faribee, both of Nelson, Nebr.; Ole B. Jensen of Blair and Dewey M. Jensen of Sioux City.

A short funeral service was held at the home in Blair on Tuesday morning and the body was shipped to Nelson, their old home where funeral services were held on Wednesday and interment made in the Nelson cemetery.
