Died on July 10, 1908, Mr. Henrich Micheel, of general breakdown and weak heart. Mr. Micheel was born in Germany June 7, 1821, and was 87 years, 1 month and 3 days old. He leaves two children to mourn his loss - Wm. Micheel of this place and Mrs. Lena Stoltenburg of Oklahoma, both of whom were at his bedside when his spirit took flight for the Great Beyond. The funeral was held from the home of his son at 1 o’clock Sunday, Rev. A. F. Schafter officiating. The remains were laid to rest in the German cemetery near the German Hall. Ye scribe has known Mr. Micheel for over thirty years and always regarded him as one of our best friends and we shall miss him, and we most certainly sympathize with the friends and relatives.
