Kay Sharon Bonneau Siegl was born July 2, 1941 in Oakland, Nebraska. She was the only child of Harold and Catherine (Mahrens). She attended school at Oakland, Pleasant View Country School near Blair, and graduated from Herman High School in 1960. She then attended Bohner School of Hair Styling in Fremont. Following completing beauty school, Kay then started and operated her own beauty shop in Herman for several years.

Kay was confirmed and became a member of First Lutheran Church in Blair in November of 1961.

On September 10, 1966, Kay married Hermann Siegl at First Lutheran Church in Blair. To this union two sons were born: Danial Siegl and Joseph (Chris) Siegl both of Lincoln. Also surviving are two grandchildren: Alisha and Austen Siegl; great granddaughter Lemen; and brother-in-law Adolf Siegl.

Kay spent her life as a loving, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed being with family and friends. She was a good friend to all who knew her.

Graveside services will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Campbell Aman Funeral Home, Blair.
