Albert T. Jensen, 87, of Tacoma, Wash., died Monday, March 6, 2000, in Tacoma, Wash.

Burial was in Tacoma, Wash., with full Army military honors.

Albert T. Jensen was born March 29, 1912, to Thomas and Lauretta Jensen, long-time Blair residents, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He served in combat duty in World War II, and in the Korean War. He received the Bronze Star Medal during his duty in Korea.

On Sept. 13, 1947, he married Patrina Deventi. In 1963, he retired from the Army as a master sergeant at Fort Lewis, Wash.

His hobbies were landscaping and cooking.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Russell; one brother Neils; a sister, Anna Parcher of Blair; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Karen; three brothers, Lars of Blair, Chris of Fremont, and Woodrow of Omaha; and two sisters, Ellen Shea of Omaha; and Marie Wheatley of Wymore.
