After a short illness Mrs. Karen Hansen, living southwest of town, passed away at the home of her son last Wednesday, interment taking place at the Thone cemetery, Rev. Anderson of Blair performing the last sad rites. Mrs. Hansen was a native of Denmark, was born at Haarby Fyen March 23rd, 1820, and was 89 years and 3 days of age. In 1883 she came to America where she has since resided. A loving husband, two sons and a daughter survive her.
