H. F. Kelly died last Thursday evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Festus Rosenbalm, from the effects of a cerebral hemorrhage that occurred Monday evening, leaving him unconscious, though not altogether paralyzed. The funeral was held at the house at 1:30 Saturday afternoon. Mr. Kelly was in the barber business in this city for a number of years, but had been living with his children here and in Boone county for several years. He was born in Ohio Feb. 26, 1841 and came to this county about 27 years ago. He is survived by his wife, one son and five daughters, all of whom live near Boone except Mrs. Rosenbalm. Mrs. N. J. Martin of this city is a sister.
