Graveside services will be 3 p.m., Saturday, May 14, at the Blair Cemetery for Dr. Alfred Carter Jensen, who died in San Francisco, California, on April 17, 1983.

Alfred Carter Jensen was born in Blair on April 18, 1909, to James Peter and Ora Odessa Carter Jensen. He attended Blair City Schools, Dana College, the University of Nebraska, University of Colorado, and the University of California at Los Angeles.

He was a retired Associate Dean in the College of Education at San Francisco State University.

He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Warren Baller, Spring Valley, California, and nieces and nephews and many friends and relatives.
