Julie Standen

July 2, 1954 - January 21, 2021

Age 66, passed away at her Blair home surrounded by her family. Julie was born in Scottsbluff, NE. Julie graduated from Scottsbluff High; she had a career with the railroad for 27 years.

Survivors: husband David, of 38 years. Children: Adam (Melissa) Hall, Sean (Heather) Hall, Jack (Wendy) Standen; 15 grandchildren; sister Janie (Keegan) and brother Steven (Kathy). Preceded in death by: parents Donna and Tom Spence; daughter Amy Yardley, and sister Becky McDonald.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society.

Julie Spence Standen, age 66, passed away January 21, 21 in her Blair home surrounded by her family. Julie was born July 2, 1954 in Scottsbluff, NE. Julie graduated from Scottsbluff High; she had a career with the railroad for 27 years. Julie enjoyed music, reading, baking with her kids and grandkids, camping with her family, flower gardening with her husband, and shopping with her grandkids. She will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she met. She will be remembered for her contagious smile and laugh, and welcoming and loving personality.

Julie is survived by her husband, David, of 38 years. Her Children: Adam (Melissa) Hall, Sean (Heather) Hall, Jack (Wendy) Standen; 14 grandchildren: Taylor, Tegan, Kaylee, Paul, Liam, Olivia, Ava, Addy, Emmie, Eric, Priscilla, Maxim, Everette, and David; great-grandchild Gabriel; sister Janie (Keegan) and brother Steven (Kathy); many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, coworkers, and neighbors.

Julie is preceded in death by her mother and father Donna and Tom Spence; daughter Amy Yardley, and sister Becky McDonald.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the American Cancer Society in Julie’s name. Arrangements by Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair.
