MOTHER OF BLAIR MAN DIED FRIDAY AT NORFOLK, NEB.

Mrs. Nancy Ommerman, mother of John Ommerman living near Blair, died at 9 o’clock on the evening of March 4, 1921 at the home of her son, D. A. Ommerman at Norfolk.

Deceased was born in Clinton county, Ohio July 18, 1824, and was married to Samuel Ommerman in 1842, and moved to Madison county, Indiana in 1851. They came to Washington county, Nebraska in 1862, where they resided for many years. Her husband proceeded her in death May 29, 1886. She is survived by two sons, D. A. of Norfolk and John of Blair. There are also eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren - three having died some time ago.

The funeral was held at Norfolk on Sunday, the obsequies being conducted by the local Methodist minister, she having been a member of this church from early girlhood. She had made her home with her son at Norfolk for the past fourteen years.
