The death of Mrs. Emma Romanosky occurred at Nicholas Senn hospital on Saturday, Feb. 5, after a severe surgical operation. The body was taken to St. Louis by her daughter, Mrs. Dion Carter, for burial beside her husband who died a number of years ago. Mrs. Romanosky lived in Blair some time with her daughter, Mrs. Carter, on east Lincoln street, but of late had been living at Bancroft. She owns a farm and lived for number of years in the German hall neighborhood where she was well and favorably known. She was the mother of six sons and three daughters, all of whom are grown and survive her.
