FORMER ARLINGTON RESIDENT DIES AT LINCOLN HOME

Arlington, Aug. 11—Friends and relatives were grieved to learn of the death of Merrit L. Blackburn, 55, Lincoln, former Arlington resident, who died at his home Monday afternoon.

The deceased grew to manhood at Arlington. At the time of his death, he was connected with the Old Line Bankers’ Insurance Co., of which he was secretary and chairman of the board of directors.

He is survived by his widow, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Blackburn of Arlington; two brothers, Ray of Arlington and Ross M. of Chicago.

Definite funeral arrangements have not been completed. The funeral and interment will be held at Lincoln.
