Services for Alma T. Jensen, 89 of Fremont and formerly of the Bennington-Washington-Arlington area who died May 30, 1996 were Monday, June 3 at First Lutheran Church in Fremont. Rev. David Jensen and Rev. Benard Nelson officiated. Burial was in Memorial Cemetery.

Alma T. Jensen was born March 2, 1907 to Hans and Anna Olsen Lagoni on the family farm near Marquette, Nebraska, where she also grew up.

She married John Jensen at St. John's Lutheran Church at Kronborg, Nebraska January 30, 1930. They farmed near Hampton for 10 years. In 1940, they moved to a farm south of Arlington. They moved to a farm nearer to Washington in September, 1955 and moved to Fremont in February of 1971.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Fremont. She had also been a member of the Washington Extension Club.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.

She is survived by her husband, John; a sister, Emma Jorgensen of Aurora, Nebraska and several nieces and nephews.
