| 4 May, 1922 - The Tribune - Mrs. J. E. Gelow
The funeral of Mrs. J. E. Gelow was held from the home of her brother, William Whitford, on Monday at 2 o’clock. Her death came as a great shock to her many friends and relatives here. Dr. and Mrs. Gelow made their home in Arlington several years ago when Dr. Gelow enjoyed a good practice. They moved to Grand Island where they have since made their home. Those from out of town who came to attend the funeral were Mrs. Dora Whitford and Mrs. Charles Miske of Chicago, Dr. and Mrs. Geo. Misko of North Bend, Mr. and Mrs. John Whitford of Fremont, Mr. and Mrs. Johnson of Indiana, and Rev. Stitts and Dr. McGrath of Grand Island.
