The sad news of the death of little Byron Bailey of Omaha reached here Saturday morning, and on Sunday afternoon the funeral services were held at the Methodist church, conducted by Rev. Underwood of Blair and Rev. Smith. Little Byron had been ill only a few days with measles and pneumonia when the angels called him home to be with his father who passed away some years ago. He, with his mother, Mrs. Marie Bailey Smith, lived with his grandfather, Nick Cook, for a long time before going to Omaha to live, and was well liked by everyone here. We extend our deepest sympathy to the mother and relatives who are sorrowing for him.
