Betty Mae Liehr, age 90, was born on May 19, 1930 in Omaha, Nebraska. She passed away on March 9, 2021 in Lincoln, NE.

Betty married her late husband, William J. Liehr, on December 4, 1964 and they spent the next 48 years together happily married. She enjoyed all things flower related, birds, and even learned to love cats later in life.

Betty is preceded in death by her loving husband, Bill Liehr; her brothers and sisters; and son-in-law, Del Kugel. She is survived and will be missed by her children: Les (Karen) Tighe, Rick (Donna) Tighe, Mark (Annie) Tighe, and Sharon Kugel; grandchildren: Matt Tighe, Jared (Lora) Tighe, Michael (Brandy) Tighe, Ryan Tighe, Kevin (Amy) Tighe, Sean Gies, Jehremy (Annette) Gies, Cohen (Nichola) Kugel, Eric Tighe, Adam (Laura) Tighe, Isaac (Mikki) Tighe, Hilary (Joe) Porter; 23 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 7909 Mormon Bridge Road, Omaha, NE 68152.
