DIED

ANDERSON—At the home of his son, Andrew Anderson, in Blair, on April 24th, 1891 Claus Anderson, aged 65 years, 22 days.

Deceased was born in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, and immigrated to America with his family some nine years ago, locating in Illinois where he remained eight years, coming to Nebraska about one year ago. His health has been generally good with the exception occasional attacks of asthma, until some two weeks since, when he was attacked with la grippe, followed by sinking spells. On Friday A.M., as he was about to get out of bed, he called to his wife, and though she responded at once, he was dead almost by the time she reached his side.

He leaves a wife and eight children, six sons and two daughters, the youngest of which is 20 years old. The funeral occurred Saturday from Andrew Anderson’s residence, services being conducted by Rev. Wentz, pastor of the German Lutheran church.
