| Evelyn Adams, 81, of Omaha, died Friday, Oct. 23, 2009.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, at St. Leo Catholic Church, 1920 N. 102nd Street, in Omaha. Interment will be at 1:30 p.m. at the Creston (Neb.) Cemetery.
Everlyn Sander was born April 17, 1928, to Ernst and Josephine Sander.
She is survived by her husband, Elmer W. Adams; sons and daughters-in-law, E. Stephen and Vickie Adams of Omaha, Mark and Reinette Adams of St. Johns, Fla., Paul and Vickie Adams of Crescent, Iowa, and Gene and Heidi Adams of Weston; daughters, Dr. Ann Adams of Overland Park, Kan., and Mary Jo Penry of Omaha; 12 grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Drs. JoAnn and Richard Devries.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Jesse Penry.
