Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for fellowship at the Nielsen Community Center following the interment service.

James Henry Van Cleave was born on May 5, 1942 to Henry and LaVerne (Murray) Van Cleave in West Point, NE. He attended Guardian Angels, graduating High School in 1961.

Jim served honorably in the United States Air Force from July 28, 1916 to July 27, 1965. He worked for the Chicago & North Western Railroad for over 30 years.

Jim was a 50 year member of the American Legion Post #70. He enjoyed driving around and heading to the casino.

Survivors include-
Brother-Gordon Van Cleave of Medford, OR
Nieces and Nephews- Christina Clark, Theresa Clark, Tami Nelson, Timothy Clark, Eugene and Sandy Crom, Sheila and Kelly Daniels, and Mike Van Cleave

Jim is preceded in death by his parents-Henry and LaVerne Van Cleave, and sisters-Janice Clark and Geraldine Crom.
