Services for Ansgar N. Jensen, 67, of Billings, Montana, who died July 22, 1986, in Western Manor Nursing Home in Billings, were held on July 25. Burial was in the Billings Cemetery.

Jensen was born in San Francisco, California, the son of Rev. P.C. and Kirsten Jensen. He moved to Sidney with his parents in 1929.

He married Marie Nelson on January 15, 1941, in Kennard.

Jensen worked as a salesman for Industrial Equipment in Sidney and as an auto mobile salesman for Johnson Ford in Laurel and Ryan Olds in Billings, moving to Billings in 1960.

During World War II he served in the Army and was awarded the Purple Heart.

He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife, a daughter, Sharyl Reed of Sidney; four sisters, Bertha Olsen of Newhall, California, and Dania Hundtoft, Ingred Matzen and Ellenora Plugge, all of Blair, and three grandchildren.
