Frank Lawrence Curley
Died on 2/16/1968
Buried in Blair Cemetery

Originally 9 holes, now 18, the pretty, rolling golf course just north of Blair, NE has been the home of many hours of enjoyable play. Here is an article from the December 20, 1922 Pilot as to its origins:

"The Blair Country Club will hold a housewarming at their new clubhouse, the Paxton Ware bungalow in the Frank Curley farm, tomorrow, Thursday evening, when organization will be perfected and plans laid out for the future. Mr. Curley is very anxious to make a real country club out of it, and will lay out a golf course, enlarge the club house and do whatever is desired by club members. At present the membership had to be limited because of limited room, but a waiting list will be made and those first on the list will be admitted as soon as there is room."
