BERNICE JENSEN

Services for Bernice Jensen, 76, of Fremont, who died Thursday, February 6, 1986, at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha, were held Monday, February 10, at Calvary United Methodist Church in Fremont. Burial was in the Kennard Cemetery and the Rev. Dr. Frederick Richart officiated.

Mrs. Jensen was born July 20, 1909, the daughter of David and Jennie Pritchard of Kennard, where she was raised.

She married Walter Jensen on April 11, 1927, in Omaha. In 1934 they moved to Audubon, Iowa, where they farmed. They moved to Omaha in 1955 and then to Fremont in 1970.

She was a member of the Calvcary United Methodist Church in Fremont.

Survivors include her husband Walter; one son, Richard of Omaha; three daughters, Mrs. Alvin (Geraldine) Andersen and Mrs. DeLane (Phyllis) Christianson, both of Omaha, and Mrs. Jeffrey (Linda) Jacobsen of Kearney; one brother, David of Omaha; sisters, Mrs. Bud (Lorraine) Holmes of Fremont, Mrs. Maxine Erikson of Anaheim, Calif., and Mrs. Perry (Beatrice) Eggert of Yakima, Washington; 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and a grandaughter.

Pallbearers were David and Ronald Andersen; Jerry, Thomas and Kenneth Christianson; and Scott, Mike and Andrew Jacobsen.

Organist was Vernelle Werblow and soloist was Beth Turner.

Moser Memorial Chapel of Fremont was in charge of arrangements.
