Frieda W. Funk was born May 3, 1901 in Fremont, Nebraska. She moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1984. She married Louis F. Iske on April 15, 1929. He died March 18, 1985.

Mrs. Iske died Thursday, December 27, 1990 at Las Palomas Nursing Home in Albuquerque. She had been a homemaker.

Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Frank of Albuquerque, and Henry J. of Seattle, Washington; a brother, Frank Funk of Joplin, MO; two sisters, Mary Funk and Lydia Brandhorst, both of Tucson, AZ, and two grandsons.

The funeral for Frieda W. Iske, 89, of Albuquerque, NM, formerly of Fremont, NE, will be 10:30 am Wednesday at the Presbyterian Church in Fremont. The Rev. Stephen J. Brownlee will officiate Wednesday’s service. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery.

Bader-Rozanek Colonial Funeral Home in Fremont, NE is in service to the family.
